This video sets these performances side by side as am homage to MacLachlan’s work and to see what picture emerges of the whole man broken into five parts.

Joel Blackledge is an AHRC-funded doctoral researcher at Birmingham City University. His research uses video practice to explore the formal and thematic links between cinema and internet memes.
