By frag_editorial “princess [GRACE] kelly” was presented at the 2021 BAFTSS conference, held over Zoom for obvious reasons. As an admirer of Grace Kelly’s strong but brief career, I wondered how I might create a video essay that incorporated all 9 of her feature films. Drawing inspiration from works like The Green Fog and Rock Hudson’s Home Movies, I set out to use her feature films to recreate the MGM documentary on her marriage to Prince Rainier. The project was eventually abandoned. All that now remains is this rough cut of what I thought might be the opening of the video essay.
